Reflection of College Day and Future College
The college I went to was UC Fullerton. I liked this college because of how nice the people were there. When we visited there everyone was so nice and friendly, for an example we asked someone where the food court was and they told us where it was and also what kind of food they had their. Also I liked how they had a little flea market in the middle of the campus. A few things I didn't like about this college is that it seems like it has a lot of greek history and that's what the college is known for. I don't really like history that much so it was a little boring. Although they had this greek statue that was broken into about 5 different pieces and if you rubbed the but the myth was that it would bring you luck for the rest of the day. Later that day I found a dollar on the floor. I think it's really important when your looking into colleges your interested that your happy with the campus and that you feel like your in a comfterable environment that you would be willing to live their for at least 4 years or so. When I really start looking into colleges I prefer larger campuses and public schools. I think it would be fun to have a lot of people at college that way you just know a lot more people. I want to go to college coast to the coast so that any day after school you can just go to the beach and hang. I wanna stay near home probably about 5 hours away and I prefer smaller class room sizes vs. bigger ones. But of course all of this depends on expenses and whether I get asked to play somewhere for colllege. This is all what I prefer but I'm really okay with anything.
A few majors that I'm really having a tough time decided what to study is: Marine Biology, Law&Criminal Enforcement. I have only been really looking at 2 majors, but I'm sure that there will be more that I will come along throughout the rest of my years in high school. This college did have an area for marine biology but it wasn't really known for it, and it just didn't really seem like the type of college I would want to attend. I have been looking into UC Davis, and thats where I really want to go. I haven't looked into any colleges in Law&Criminal Enforcement but I know I will soon. Critical Reading: 510 / 640 SAT Math: 560 / 680 SAT Math: 560 / 680. Those are the scores for the SAT, which are actually pretty low because if you require all of those together it's only a minimum of 1630 points out of 2400. 77% of new arriving students receive finacial aid. And 68% of students receive grants and 45% receive loans. As a total the amount of grants given is: $16,410 and the total amount of loans $5,574. I would be interested in honors programs because I feel like if I am studying something I'm interested I will really try my best.
When I start college and Im gonna have to start taking side classes, like art, language and stuff and my plan is that in about a month I will be attending Palmar classes and taking spanish. And so if I take 2 classes a year of spanish then by the time I'm in college I will be finished with a whole year of college. And that will help a lot with time management. I wanna a roommate who's gonna be chill with messy rooms and staying up late and will also just respect my property. I don't think UC Davis requires freshman's to live on campus but I know cal poly does. Students are able to bring a car. A few clubs/sports I'm interested in is soccer is I want to make sure I'm on the soccer team. They do have a good soccer team and it would be a really cool to be a goalie for that team. I think it would be really fun and cool to e part of a sorority but soccer will be around 24/7 so it''s gonna be hard to do both of these.
