For this Project we reed the book To Kill a mockingbird by Harper Lee. This Project involved both Humanities and Physics. For our Humanities portion we reed the book and for the physics portion we made a rollar coaster based on one character in the book that really stood out to us and that we thought it would be cool to make their life story a rollar coaster. For This project I was in a group with 2 other people: Eli and Deme, Working with these people was fun but also stressful. It was fun because sometimes we all had so many great ideas but stressful because we couldn't put every idea onto the rollar coaster. When me and the other group members made the rollar coaster I learned how to work with different peoples abilities and disabilities, meaning that if someone was really good with one topic but then kinda short for the other then I had to fill in the other parts. I also learned different types of forces and how every single part of the rollar coaster is really important and the marble that gets dropped and how mig or small it has to be. I feel like we did really well on the first day as we were talking about how the coaster would look and what ideas we had. So it was really organized for about the first week but I think we could've improved on the neatness of this project so we could've hot glued every element so it was really stable and re-painted the entire project so it was more attractive to little kids eyes. The only thing I would change about this project is maybe the physics half only because I didn't really learn that much other then how to build a roller coaster I wish we got deeper into different types of energy.
