For this mini project we were put into groups of 4. Each group was assigned a map of certain parts in Europe and subject to show on our map. We were also assigned to create 5 trivia questions that were next to our map so that people can come around out map and try out the trivia questions. My group was assigned Flags and Languages, right off the bat we had this great idea of putting the map we were given and stick it onto foam board. We decided this because we wanted to make 3D flags so when we stick the flag into the foam board it would stay. So since we had an idea for the flags we had to come up with a way that we should show languages on our flag. We then came up with idea to write the language that each country was know for on the back of our flag. We made the flag out of toothpicks and printed out paper of each 50 flags in Europe. After we sticked each flag with the language in we were told that it would look more appealing if we colored in each country. Because we had already put in all 50 flags we didn't want to take them out and re do them, we decided that country by country we would color it in but if the flag was in the way we would just take it out and put it back in. That way it was flag by flag and we knew where each and every one was.
This was our map that we created. Many other groups had amazing ways of demonstrating their subject. For an example one group was told to show the landmarks of each country. So they drew the landmarks like the Eiffel tower for france. The neat thing about this is that there drawings were very good and detailed.
